Instameet 2021 – Three Days of Epic Riding

/ February 20, 2022

This past September we had the opportunity to invite and showcase Ride the Highlands to eight motorcycle writers and photographers for an epic multi-day ride. Stationed at Sands on Golden Lake, these motorcycle enthusiasts spent three days riding the Ottawa Valley region of Ontario’s Highlands, touring some of our favourite roads and experiencing what valley hospitality is all about.

Check out these stories from some of the riders who got to enjoy the ride:

Dustin Woods @dustin_a_woods – Writer for Canada Moto Guide

Riding: 2021 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special

“You’ll be exhausted from riding before you ever get tired of exploring these roads.”

Jake Jones @jakesgreatesthits – Videographer & Photographer

“Three is the magic number and that is how many times I’ve had the pleasure of capturing the smooth, curving arteries that zig-zag through Ottawa Valley, just East of Algonquin Provincial Park. It’s also how many days I got to spend with a rambunctious bunch of Torontians whose beaming smiles and gleaming bikes were co-stars to the Ride the Highlands routes we got to sample. And sample we did.”
