Westport Loop - Gravel Crusher Extender Route Attractions

Take a break from the Westport Loop and stretch your legs at the Silver Queen Mica Mine. The trail from the parking lot leads to the restored, early 1900s partially open pit mica mine, heritage displays and the rebuilt miner’s bunkhouse. Pick up a self-guided trail booklet at the trailhead or Park Store for $1. A vehicle permit is required and access into the mine and the bunkhouse is available during mine tours only.
